CliniMed LBF Barrier Cream is long lasting and kind to the skin. Protecting the skin is a complicated process that is often taken for granted until damage occurs. LBF Barrier Cream moisturises the skin whilst providing a protective barrier against harmful effects of bodily fluid such as wound exudate and excessive perspiration, which can cause maceration and irritation. It also helps to protect against pressure, friction and shear which can lead to the formation of pressure ulcers.
LBF Barrier Cream is ideal for fragile skin as the barrier helps to prevent adhesive trauma and skin stripping caused by the repeated removal of dressings, tapes and other medical adhesive devices.
