To relieve short-term constipation, OR

To treat faecal impaction as diagnosed by a healthcare professional

Have you previously used this product or been advised to use a macrogol-based laxative by a doctor or pharmacist?

Do any of the following apply to you?

You are allergic to macrogol (polyethylene glycol), sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, potassium chloride, or any ingredients in Laxido

You have a history of bowel perforation, gut blockage, intestinal paralysis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, or toxic megacolon

Are you taking any of the following medicines?

Anti-epileptic medicines (e.g. carbamazepine, phenytoin, valproate)

Iron supplements

Thyroid hormones (e.g. levothyroxine)

Digoxin (used for heart conditions)

Immunosuppressants (e.g. ciclosporin, tacrolimus)

Do you understand and agree with the following?

This medicine should be dissolved in water and taken as directed

Do not use for more than 14 days for constipation, or more than 3 days for faecal impaction without medical advice

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy, you MUST speak to a doctor before using

You should seek advice if symptoms worsen, persist, or if you experience side effects (e.g. diarrhoea, abdominal pain, bloating)
