LBF Sterile Barrier Film provides a protective barrier against harmful effects of bodily fluids such as wound exudate and excessive perspiration, which can cause maceration and irritation. It also helps to protect against pressure, friction and shear which can lead to the formation of pressure ulcers, as well as adhesive trauma caused by the repeated removal of dressings, tapes and other medical adhesive devices.

LBF Sterile Barrier Film dries rapidly on the skin, forming a breathable transparent film which helps to preserve skin integrity. The fluid remains sterile for each application, helping to reduce the risk of microorganisms being introduced to the wound site during the application process and making it suitable for use on both intact and injured skin.
